La Tour de France!

At first i wasnt sure i was going to be able to go see the last part of the tour de France, but we had the chance and took it! Before leaving for France a lot of my friends told me that i had to see the last part of the race... Now i can tell them I did get to see the last part and i got alot of photos too!

It was a great day with Alex, Eric, Ida <3, and I as we walked on the Champs-Elysees waiting for race to arrive! We walked soooo much, i dont even know how far we walked that day. Some of us bought some clothes while waiting, and we also ate at a quicky ( France's Mcdonalds). That is also were we watched the race, when the riders pasted by multiple times, since it was hard to get a good place/view from the ground. After the race ended we got on the metro to go to a huge church, on top of a huge hill lol...

After that, Eric wanted to go to the Eiffel Tower, sooo we jumped on the metro to stop at the Louvre to grab something to eat. Once arriving there, all the stores were closed, so we had to find a nearby store for food. I had a big crepe with ham, eggs and cheese on the inside.. "bon goût!"...Then we had to walk to a different station to get onto a train which would take us to the Eiffel Tower! After staying at the Eiffel tower for a little while, we had to leave... :(

An Amazing Weekend in Paris

Saturday was the first time in Paris, I only though I was going to see the Eiffel Tower but thanks to Ida's parents, I saw more than i expected. After waiting for 30 minutes for nothing..lol we got in line to go all the way to the top of the Eiffel Tower. Once there you could see everything for miles, and there was a champagne bar so we had to have some champagne at the top of the tower. Then we processed downwards stoping at each of the previous levels. After we finished touring the tower, we met back up with her parents to go on a boat on the Seine River, which if you dont know goes through Paris. I saw a lot of great sites from there, but i would love to see them up close!

After the boat, we saw muslims, that were sells stuff on the street, run from the police...It was sooooo funny! :P By that time it was starting to get dark, the Eiffel tower's lights are blue for 2 months for the European Union. It looked really cool, and at 9:00 pm (21:00) it flashed little white stars! So for my first day in Paris in was really amazing, a little overwhelming but still amazing!!! <3

Vive en France!

Vive en France!
After a very long day filled with excitement and anxiousness, I finally was able to get onto my first flight at 10:00 pm (22:00). It was a little weird getting onto a plane since i have never been on one by myself..

A little bit weird too sitting next to a muslim, but everything was fine! I planed to sleep the entire flight but it was a little hard, so i only got 4 1/2 hours of sleep on a 6 hour and 20 minute flight. Some trouble came in Heathrow, London when they said I had to check-in my carry-on because it was too big. Even though they said it was fine in Washington, the British had a law which they made me check it in. Everything was soooo much better when i got off the airplane in France and got all of my stuff because i saw my baby's beautiful face with a huge smile on it!

Luckily I was not that tired after my flight and i have already gotten used to the time here! We did not do that much on the first day but came home to Ida's house and had a great first dinner here in France!!

A long Week!

A long Week!
Sadness keeps growing and growing the more time that is spend apart. Along with the the sadness, excitement grows along side! Excitement to see your amazing face with beautiful eyes and smile. To hold your hand in mine, to feel your lips touch mine and to hear your heart beat with all the love in the world for me!

As this last week approaches before getting on the airplane, i know it is going to be crazy! As my emotions grow wild, i have to pack and make sure i have everything i need for an amazing stay in France. I also have to worry if all my stuff will fit with the rest of someone else stuff.... :P

McDonald's WMZQ Fest!!

What an amazing time at a good country concert! Staring..Sugarland, Phil Vassar, Tracy Bryd, Jypsi, Laura Bryna and other small country groups. I have attended a WMZQ Fest in the past, but this one was a special concert. Someone ;) who always wanted to go to a concert here, is what she told me. Since Linkin Park, 311 and other concert were playing after she returns home, why not go to a country concert!

Prior to the concert, we heard it was supposed to rain.. :( Arriving at Nissan Pavilion, there was a sign that said the parking lot did not open until 2:30 (14:30). We decided to go to Panera, while in Panera the rain came, down pouring on everything.

Good thing it rained then because the sun shined during most of the concert! All in all, it was an amazing time with an amazing cowgirl :P
